How to Get More Therapy Clients: A Practical Guide for Therapists

If you're good at what you do but your diary still has far too many empty spaces, you're not alone.

One of the strangest things about becoming a therapist is that you're trained extensively in how to help people — but usually taught almost nothing about how to find them.

You can be exceptionally good at your job. You can have excellent qualifications, years of experience and wonderful feedback from clients.

None of that automatically means the next person looking for help will choose you.

And that's where many therapists get stuck.

They assume they need to post constantly on social media, become good at selling themselves or somehow shout louder than every other therapist in their area.

I don't think that's the answer at all.

The real problem is usually trust.
